A policia chegou la em casa, pegaram o Steve para exames, mas todo o tempo eu sabia que todos os que estavam la eram as melhores pessoas possiveis... Estava tranquila por isso tirei as fotos. Obrigada a Deus.
The police arrived in our house, they medical techs took Steve for a complete exam, but all the time we new that everything was OK. The people who were in our house, were very nice people and let me take these pictures. Thank God, because our friends would have never believed! |

A pressao foi tirada, o sangue analisado e perguntas foram feitas pata testar a capacidade mental e fisica do Steve.
All examinations were made to see if Steve was mentally and physically ok. |

Enquanto esperavamos pelo resultado de sangue, que segundo o medico deveria estar muito abaixo do normal, pois 3 semanas sem alimento "debilita com certeza", segundo os "doutores"
When we were waiting for the blood results, the doctor said that for sure his sugar will be lower then normal... then was completely surprised to find it better than normal. Also his blood pressure and heart rate was perfect. They said he seemed to be in perfect health. Something he already knew. |

Os policiais eram pessoas tao legais que ate para Machupichu um deles ja foi. Eles entenderam quem era a maluca dessa historia.
The police was so nice that one of them had already been in Machupichu and they understood our situation with Heidi, they realise who is crazy! |

Two medical techs, 1 doctor, stretcher and everything needed to care for the "crazy" man that decided not to eat. And now we have a good, funny and true story to show our friends how crazy somebody can be when they simply ignore the possibility that there may be another way to live... They go even to these extremes even as we approach the year 2000! ...and they call US crazy!?! |
